Knowing Viva's <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vivaaerobus.com\/en-us\/info\/get-ready-to-fly\/baggage-policies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">baggage policies<\/a> ahead of time will save you an arm and leg before shockingly hefty fees are added at the gate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Know Before You Go:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I've flown with Viva Aerobus numerous times. It was always a seamless flight except for one instance. When I tried to take my dog with me to Mexico City, Viva broke their own rules by refusing boarding due to my dog crate not meeting their listed dimensions (even though it clearly did), ultimately causing a huge last-minute headache. Get the <em>Pulpo Rostizado<\/em> and you'll thank me later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mexico City is very cosmopolitan. You'll find a surprising array of cultural neighborhoods to explore.
